Cold Mountain Child is a dreamfolk trio writing songs inspired by the histories of indie-americana, shoegaze, lo-fi, psychedelic and latin american protest music. Their work explores leaf-to-loam tangles, nightworlds, inner/outer journeys, grief and nectar of the heart.

CMC has been touring and releasing albums independently since 2009. Their sonic ecosystem is inhabited by multi-percussionist Gerren Young, lead guitarist and pianist David Spalvieri-Kruse, and guitarist and singer Tyler Bradley. They live near the woods of southwest Michigan/Kalamazoo on the traditional lands of the Anishinaabeg people.

Cold Mountain Child has previously performed at Hollerfest, the Buttermilk Jamboree Festival, Farm Fest, Rhythm on the River Fest, Bell’s Eccentric Cafe, The Pyramid Scheme and other venues.
